The call of the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19 says, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Divine Care Ministries has been doing this for over 20 years now in the region of Karamoja, which is unreached by the Gospel and living in extreme poverty. The call is to make disciples and the way to do that is through discipleship - through discipling the youth and the parents. 

Because of your generosity, we are just two months away from seeing the Early Childhood Development Center in Kochito completed.  260 children will now be able to move out of the temporary mud building and into the spacious 4 room school so they can learn and become the future of Uganda!  

But we need just a few more things to help make this dream a reality.

 

Classroom furniture (80 student desks, 5 teacher desks/chairs, 5 shelving systems for office/classroom storage): $3,972.60 

Classroom Supplies for a year (pencils, paper, glue, markers, slates, etc.): $2,235 

260 School Uniforms: $3,561.64 

Truck: $15,000

Total: $24,769.24

 

We are believing for the land of Karamoja to rejoice in their inheritance and live with an everlasting joy from knowing and being known and cared for by the Father, like Isaiah 61 declares. Oh, what a tangible glimpse this community center will be for them and generations to come. How humbling it is to be able to participate in something that will cause a ripple in generations and generations of souls' salvations.
